Advise on finding an outfitter...from an outfitter retired.  Everyone has something in mind when they search for an outfitter and Professional Hunter.  Many sub-quality outfitters have been around for a long time because they sell a cheap hunt...and when you purchase that product you are lucky if you get anything that even resembles a guided hunt.  On the other-hand an outfitter with an expensive operation is no guarantee either.  Nor is a large operation or a small one. Only reputation and references can assure that you find the company that fulfills your hopes. Do your homework, it pays off.  Ultimately it is the individual doing the outfitting that makes or breaks the hunt.  He is your only guarantee of a well run operation.... so call References!
