EQUIPMENT LIST FOR BROWN BEAR HUNT

Expect Brown Bear Hunting To Be Wet & Windy
Do not bring cotton or woll clothing if you can avoid it. Man made fibers are preferable to wool.
Rifles with "plastic" stocks are prefered due to the weather.

___ 2 pair Capilene or Poly-pro medium weight long underwear	___ 2 medium weight shirts
___ 4 pair socks Poly pro or Capilene	___
___ underwear and undershirts	___ 1 warm hat (must cover ears for high wind)
___ 1 or 2 pair of Gortex pants recommended	___ 1 pair of ankle fit hip boots
___ 1 Poly-pro pile jacket	___ belt
___ 1 warm Gortex outer jacket	___ 2 pair warm gloves or mittens
___ duffel bags or soft luggage for gear. Dry bags are often preferred.	___ 1 3/4 length nylon rain coat. Must reach well over the tops of hip boots, and be long enough to sit on.
___ 1 pair of sunglasses	___ 1 pair extra prescription glasses if applicable
___ film (400 ASA recommended)	___ 1 small flashlight with extra batteries
___ 1 pair of binoculars	___ lens cleaner
___ toilet articles and towel	___ light reading books for bad weather
